Desainer dan artis merupakan salah satu pengguna utama program ini. InDesign merupakan kompetitor langsung QuarkXPress. Banyak perusahaan percetakan di Indonesia yang menggunakan software ini untuk membuat buku atau majalah. Juga digunakan untuk perusahaan percetakan koran.
